Teamspeak3:Â Any users connecting to teamspeak using teamspeak.lutonclan.com:9158 should modify their bookmarks or edit their server properties to reflect the new change of ts3.lifetakingnutters.com:9158
Those who connect via the ip and port need not to do this as this remains unchanged. A new temporary password feature is to be introduced to TS3, which will allow non LTN members, or potentiall website traffic joining ts without ever revealing the real master TS3 Password. These passwords are only temporary and give very limited permissions. If Darlics or nancypansies come onto ts acting a twat, they can be kick banned without the inconvenience of having to change the master server password. All LTN members are advised that they should always give out this temporary password if they wish to invite someone onto our ts. When the time is right and if appropriate an Admin will reveal the official TS Password to that member and they can begin to use our Tags. Alternatively there will be a direct link on our website to invite new members in which they can use.

Any xfire groups, steam groups, facebook pages referencing Lutonclan will also be closed and or replaced under the LifeTakingNutters name.

There will also be a further announcement coming shortly once the formalities are sorted out on an exclusive Sponsorship Deal which will see the return of a VPS for our sole use of running game servers from including a debranded sponsored battlefield 3 server, and the option to run upto an array of 9 different game servers or equivalent of 288 game server slots which ever gets utilised first.

This means that the likes of teamspeak, battlefield 3, homefront and much more can be taken away from game servers.com at the same time maximising potential but keeping the costs down, it is estimated that with the sponsorship etc that our overhead running costs would work out at around £60.00 per month for upto 9 servers @ 32 slot or a mix and match of 9 different games, including cod4, cod5, leftfordead & (2) and minecraft etc, the possibilities are endless with new games being added all the time. These new costings are significantly lower than our current overheads, and if we can try and share the load between clan members it releives financial duties on the regular contributors.

Furthermore by agreeing sponsorship and taking on a VPS commits our ethos of our belief in dedicated server gaming now and in the future, and if we cant change the publishers mind, then we educate the pc players mind, and pull them into our dedicated pc playing community and enjoy good old fashioned gaming as it it should be!!
